Newark is a village For All Seasons and is alive with cultural, recreational and shopping opportunities. As a center of commerce, Newark offers more retail stores than anywhere else in Wayne County. Adding balance to the quality of life are the many recreational opportunities that not only serve residents, but also attract out of town participants. A Visitor Map has been developed showing businesses and attractions within the Newark area to provide information for bicyclists and boaters as well as other visitors.
